Felony Guide

i am a 20 year old woman and i have been out of work for 2 years. after being out of work for a uear or so i obtained a felony and 2 misdemenors for 'bad checks'. i am having a hard time paying my probation due to not being able to find a job with my background and lack of experience. wat can i do to find a job to pay my probation and get my record expunged?

I feel your pain. Getting a job is very hard with a record. I asked my probation officer the other day about programs to help offenders, and she told me she really didn't know of anyone that could help me. PS. I live in NC. Anyway I was shocked. I faced what I did, I am paying for it, but should that really haunt us? Should we have to pay for the rest of our lives? Employers are turning me away left and right, unless it's a waitress job. Not knocking that field but it doesn't pay well enough to keep a roof over your head (if you are alone in this world). I thought that every state would have some types of programs that help people like us... we are just trying to get our lives back. We are not downsizing what we did... we have paid for it, trust me we are all paying... do any of us have good jobs? NO we are paying in ways that no one could really understand unless they have been there!
