I got charged with a class 3 felony (aggravated assult) in 2006 I only did 3 weeks in jail and I got 3 years probation. I dont think aggravated was fair. How can I get this off my record?

Aggravated assault charges will have several issues that will complicate getting the conviction expunged. Depending on the state, you may not be eligible to have your petition reviewed until five (5) years after you completed your probation. Things that will help you now and in the future when you do pursue an expungement will be letters of reference from groups such as churches, rehabilitation councilors, and other groups that can attest to your overall attitude and integrity.
