I received a letter of rehabilitation form the state of California courts and was told by the judge that I was a perfect candidate for a pardon yet was denied by the governors office. What can I do, to take further steps for a record expunge / pardon.

The State of California generally has a mandatory waiting period prior to submitting for a pardon and expungement petition. If you have already waited the allotted amount of time, then you may be faced with other issues that the board that initially approves the packages is wanting to see.
