My husband was convicted of 2 felonies about 8yrs ago over drugs. He has done his time, probation and paid all fines. He has not been in any trouble since. We were wondering if he could get it expunged? This all happened in TN. Some people learn there lesson. Why should it effect them the rest of thier lives.

Due to my felony record I am unable to find employment, embarrased to admit the details when prsented with "THE QUESTION" and no matter if I am forthright or try taking my chances in hopes they won't do a background check; inevitably my back is against the wall eithr way. I am completely destitute, feel helpless and am at the end of my rope tothe extent that I have actually REALLY considered ending my misery permanently. More than half of the convictions I've managed to rack up I wasn't even guilty of but took a deal in order to be freed and not willing to roll the dice ultimately making matters even worse if found guilty in spite of NOT being the perpetrator. I must find a way to feel confident in putting the truth on the table when applying for jobs i am qualified for,and have heard bits and pieces about some sort of Bond to possibly aquire stable employment in lieu of a tax break on the prospective employer's behalf. If anyone can PLEASE just take a moment to help by pointing me in the right direction as I don't even know how to help myself at this juncture. I am an educated female w/many maketable skilss. I would absolutely give my right arm to turn back time and change the poor choices I must be responsiblr for.
I have a serious problem understanding how I ca manage to learn, work and do extremely well at whatever it is I put my mind to finding out about how to become bonded and/or insured... surety bond is the correct term perhaps?)
Please don't misconstrude this as some pity-party. I am thruthfully trying as hard as humanly posible to just get a job and become a working responsible participany in our community, In spite of ALL, I truly don't comprehend exactly how the state of Florida could possibly think for one brief micro-second that someone such as nyself can survive with such counterproductivity. This is not just a coincidence...it is and always has been the choice of authority to ensure repeat offenses merely by making it completely and utterly impossible to aquire any type of meaningfu, comsistent means of survival as we are already in route back the moment we are released it may be to do so just to regain some type of quality of life but I know better. I'm o afraid of myself as I have been hitting a wall at every turn for so long now, I'm truly begining to think the only option I have is to remove myself from the misery and prison I live in right here in the free world. The sole reason I have not been compelled enough to inflict any type of irriversable or fatality to myself is soley due to holding on tight in faith: the only thing that cannot be taken from me and is all I have left is all I have left. I don't want to die, don't think I could hurt myself much less kill myself however I cannot stand another day worrying about whether or not I can eat, how kong will it be before I will ultimately lose the only thing faith has prevented me from doing...crosing the line into prostituting myself will undoubtedly be the death of me without a second thought, having to give up -respect for myelf, my body, disrespecting not only myself but my family as well. GOD please help me! I pray tht someone will hear my cry for help as i do have integrity. morals as well as being a huuman being with feelings, the need to survive despite what is written in convoluted laws, as a convicted felon we are automatically destined for certain despair. Given no other alternative BUT to deviate from societies rules. I haven't a chance in hell at this point and my situation in comparison to others is that of the virgin Mary.
All I could wisj for would be to be given just 1 chance to work. Redeem myseklf by actions-not words.
The entire justice system is in itself more corrupt and deceptive than the con's

I have a 1987 felony in Illinois and having a hard time finding employment. Is there any "hope" my felony can be expunged or be sealed? Even though the public defender pleaded me quilty? At that time I was not in my right mind and "did not" understand what was happening to me. Also is there any "Pro Bono" help I can look into? Please help.
