Promoting contraband 1'st and 2'nd degree
I was charged with first degree promoting contraband, I was naiive and an inmate saw me taking a prescription pain pill and asked me for one because she was hurting. I gave it to her not thinking I was doing anything wrong. Then I allowed inmates to pass cigarettes to one another and didn't do anything about it. I was then charged and convicted of both charges. I as given 3 years on each charge and served 90 days in the county jail I worked at. I wished I had never done what I did, but I did do it, I told the truth about it and it got me those charges.
